Perm Rescue Service hosted the colleagues from the Republic of Bashkortostan on November 7-10. During the meeting, Perm and Ufa rescuers took part in a joint training and organized a first aid master class for the citizens of Perm.

The first aid master class was held by Perm and Ufa rescuers in the shopping mall «Planeta». Moreover, the specialists introduced technical equipment of the rescue services of the two cities to the visitors of the shopping mall. Thus, Perm residents were shown some techniques of closed-chest cardiac massage and other resuscitation techniques. Also, they were demonstrated the course of action for the command «Gas». The rescuers from Perm and Ufa taught those who were interested in it to knit knots. The specialist from Perm City Rescue Service Vitaly Yuryev has noted that the majority of first aid skills can be useful in everyday life.

– «From time to time you need to brush up on your knowledge in the field of first aid», – Vitaly Yuryev stressed.

It is necessary to mention that the master class was held as a part of a visit of the representatives of the Ufa City Civil Protection Department to Perm. They have arrived in Perm in order to study the work of Perm City Protection Department. The delegation from the Republic of Bashkortostan visited the rescue center and conducted joint trainings. The colleagues from Ufa highly evaluated the equipment in Perm rescue center. This is a modern training area that can be applied every day: people can practice the rescue skills in various emergency situations. All the conditions are provided here in order to accomplish  the task: there is a large, bright gym with exercise equipment, a swimming pool for divers, a modern smoke and heat simulation training facility, a multilevel climbing wall complex.

– «We conducted joint events. Together we trained to conduct diving and search and rescue operations in the cave. Today we have a preventive operation», – Yana Kalinina, the head of the information and analytical department of the «Civil Protection Department» in Ufa.

It is important to mention that in 2022, the mayors of Perm and Ufa signed a cooperation agreement between the cities. The plan of joint events implies a cooperation between Perm and Ufa in the development of entrepreneurship, in the field of tourism, in the field of culture and sports. The experience exchange upon various issues on the local level is also relevant.
